"That's horrible..." Said Lergo. He sat there, listening intently to Anna's story. He wondered what happened to Anna's father... If he was saved before he was tortured... If Anna saved him... If he was tortured, but not in a grueling way... He sat there waiting.

"My father had his rudder ripped off. That's when the Special Forces arrived, clearing out every vermin in there. My dad was knocked out cold. He woke up slightly to crawl out of a hole. We never heard of him for awhile. My mother went missing. My father was found bloody. Blood all over his body. They recovered him to health. My mother... Never found... I ran away to live here with my father. My mother could be... dead." Anna began to cry slightly.

Lergo comforted her. "C'mon don't cry. As long as youbelieve your mother is alright, that's good." He said gently. He gave her a hug. "It's alright, Anna." He said, and gave her a kiss. "She's alright...I bet." He said with a smile. "Are you tired? If you are, feel free to go asleep, you can use my arm as pillow." He chuckled. To be honest, Lergo was a little tired himself. "actually, I'm a little tired myself." He laughed. "If I fall asleep, sorry." He said.

Anna wept up the rest of her tears, "I'm just going to get some rest. Do you mind?" She said as she got all comfortable on Lergo's arm.

Nah, I don't mind." He said. "In fact, I think I may get some sleep, too." Lergo yawned. Soon after, he was asleep with Anna resting on his arm. Rocky walked down the stairs and was about to ask Lergo something but he saw Lergo and Anna sleeping. He quickly tip-toed out of there and got a bite to eat.

"Hohoho! Fat toad is it?!" Rocky said. "well what about you?! Ye candy stealing hop-head!" He said. He jogged to Gulls and tapped him on the gut. "Whattay think that is?" He asked playfully. "Well, anyways, I was downstairs and I saw Lergo and Anna asleep on the couch in Cavern Hole." He said. "Lergo was asleep and Anna was laying asleep and resting on his arm." He said. "Now... Ye got any candied chestnuts?" He asked.

Gulls smiled, "Oh they were, were they? I'm thinking that they're going to get along juuuust well!" Gulls smiled at Rocky again, "And yes. I do have candied chestnuts. They're for the wolverine babe. Not full grown otters, such as yourself. But I'm feeling pity, so here ya go." The otter tossed one candied chestnut at Rocky.

"Fine, ye shoopid doggy." Rocky said with a slight laugh. On his way out, he tossed a pear to Gulls. "Oi, eat up, it'll help ye lose that belly fat." ROcky chuckled. He then said: "Kidding!"

Rocky walked down stairs and tapped Lergo on the shoulder. "C'mon son, off ta bed." He said gently. "Ok, dad." Said Lergo. Rocky walked away. Lergo gave Anna a kiss and said. "Anna, c'mon time to get up in our beds." He said. He gently nudged her awake.

Anna slowly woke up. She got up after Lergo did. When they reached the dorms, Anna gave a kiss to Lergo saying, "Thanks for the food, the necklace, and for listening. I really appreciate it."
